We’re kicking off Weird True Crime with one of the most spooky, chill-rendering cases in true crime. Daniel LaPlante tormented the streets of small town Massachussetts in the late ’80s. The story of his crimes has been embellished over time, but the facts in the case are more weird than any fiction. After harassing and stalking the Bowen family, LaPlante brutally murdered a pregnant woman and her two small children and led police on a manhunt.
